Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical unit on a PRN basis. The RN will provide high-quality, direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient health and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Use electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient tracking.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
• 1 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
