Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and hygiene support to patients (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting).
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients and providing assistance with walking.
- Take and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate).
- Assist with feeding and nutrition support as needed.
- Report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental health to the nursing staff.
- Observe and document patient condition, behaviors, and responses to treatments.
- Help maintain patient rooms by keeping them clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols in all care procedures.
- Current CNA certification in the state of New Jersey
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (assistance available when needed)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies calmly
- Must be able to work flexible hours (day, evenings and nights)
