Location: Tallahassee, FL, 32301

Shift: 12-hr Nights | 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical-surgical oncology team. In this role, you will care for ill, injured, and recovering adults using a patient-centered care model. You’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and have the autonomy to make clinical decisions and assessments in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive patient health data and history
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and expected outcomes
• Advocate for patients’ well-being as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide education to patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and procedures
• Actively promote and ensure patient safety at all times
• Utilize time, equipment, and resources effectively and efficiently
• Support patients and families throughout their stay with empathy and professionalism
  
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience is required
• Acute care experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience will be considered
• Licensure & Certification:
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida, or eligible to obtain before start
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is preferred at hire and required within 6 months
• Education:
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred
