Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Long-term care experience is a plus, though training may be provided for the right candidate
- Previous leadership, charge, or supervisory experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Assess resident clinical needs and support appropriate care planning
- Oversee daily operations and supervisory responsibilities for the assigned unit
- Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff
- Help maintain quality and consistency of care across the unit
- Review resident records and monitor care standards
- Address questions and concerns from residents and families
- Communicate unit needs and priorities with leadership
- Support a safe, organized, and resident-focused care environment
