Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or recent graduate eligible to begin practice
- Experience in long-term care, rehab, or nursing home settings is helpful, but training may be available for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care based on resident needs and care plans
- Obtain and document vital signs and observe changes in resident condition
- Review medical records and support accurate charting
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with resident care and clinical tasks
- Administer medications, injections, and other ordered treatments
- Support wound care and resident comfort measures
- Perform basic diagnostic and specimen-related tasks as needed
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the healthcare team
