What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Catalyst Partners?
We are partnering with a rapidly growing global fintech firm on finding a Recruiter on a 3-month FTC, with the view of converting into a full-time HR Associate following your time with the business. Initially, this position will focus 100% on Talent Acquisition for the first 3 months, managing a requisition load of approximately 10–15 roles at any given time.
If converted, the role will expand into broader HR responsibilities, including HR Business Partner work. You would gain exposure to the full suite of HR across Employee Relations, Talent Management, Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, whilst also keeping a hand in Talent Acquisition.
You will be reporting directly into the HRD, with access to C-suite and senior management across the business.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting
- Post job openings and source candidates
- Review resumes and run 1st round screening
- Coordinate interview scheduling
- Partner closely with hiring managers
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Learn and utilize Rippling for recruiting (prior experience is a plus but not required)
- Contribute to process improvements in talent acquisition workflows
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Prior recruiting experience required (either in-house in TA or Generalist HR, or from an agency)
- Background in tech, engineering, fintech, or financial services preferred
- Experience with Technical Recruiting is a plus, but not essential
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ATS (Rippling experience is a bonus)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Desire to transition into an HR Generalist role long-term
Location & Schedule: Hybrid – NYC; Monday–Thursday office days (3 days a week) Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Salary : $40 - $60
