What are the responsibilities and job description for the OFFICE ASSISTANT (TYPING) position at California Highway Patrol?
Under the general supervision of the Office Services Supervisor I, this position will be responsible for the processing of parking citations, CHP 215s, Traffic Citations, CHP 281s, Notice of Correct citations, Owner responsibility citations, CHP 239s, Notice of Correction and Proof of Service forms, and other departmental documents. Complete data entry of traffic citation information and other departmental forms into the departmental database.
Process and file CHP 180s, Stored Vehicle Reports, monthly NCIC report, VIN report, copier report, and miscellaneous investigations. Maintain daily logs for corresponding files and enter information into the computer. Process Public Records Act (PRA) requests. Process quarterly CHP 520s, Area PRA request logs.
