Key Responsibilities
- Drive product modifications and engineering changes across current aerospace initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Assist in the validation, testing, and prototype assembly processes as necessary.
- Oversee engineering teams, project budgets, and development schedules to ensure successful delivery.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, external suppliers, and clients to improve project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in mechanical product design, specifically with mechanisms or latches within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in CAE and 3D CAD software, with a preference for PDM systems and SolidWorks.
- A solid understanding of engineering drawing standards, GD&T, and aerospace regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, manage projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
