Role Summary:
Our manufacturing facility is looking for a talented Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations. You will be instrumental in maintaining the safety, dependability, and peak performance of our production machinery and site infrastructure. We are looking for someone who thrives in a high-speed industrial setting and brings solid expertise in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems.
Core Duties:
- Execute routine upkeep, fault finding, and corrective repairs on production hardware and plant infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to help maximize overall equipment availability.
- Set up, calibrate, and service various machine parts, including pumps, motors, belts, gears, and conveyor lines.
- Analyze technical documentation, schematics, blueprints, and service requests to guide your work.
- Keep detailed documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts stock levels.
- Partner with production staff to resolve equipment issues and help maintain seamless operational flow.
- Adhere to and promote strict safety standards, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Support general facility upkeep, including plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Completion of high school or equivalent; a trade school or technical diploma is a bonus.
- Minimum of three years working in industrial maintenance within a production or manufacturing setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in the safe use of power tools, hand tools, and specialized diagnostic gear.
- Experience with fabrication or welding is considered an advantage.
- Capability to function effectively both as an individual contributor and within a collaborative team.
