About the Role
As a Senior Maintenance Technician specializing in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), you will ensure optimal equipment performance through advanced electrical troubleshooting and proactive maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining uptime and improving system efficiency across a variety of plant operating systems. You will be a key contributor to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your deep understanding of automation technologies.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues on 480VAC and 24VDC systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Serve as a technical expert for PLC systems, including Allen Bradley (AB), B&R automation, Siemens, and Zenon, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot frequency drives, HMIs, and plant operating systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on facilities, auxiliary equipment, and electrical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and managers to address electrical and mechanical issues, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment.
- Develop and implement maintenance best practices aligned with organizational strategies, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting of 480VAC & 24VDC components.
- Strong working knowledge of PLC systems, including Allen Bradley (AB), B&R automation, Siemens.
- Experience with frequency drives, HMIs, and plant operating systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Zenon.
- Experience with data collection and system backups.
- Experience in facilities and auxiliary equipment maintenance.
