Industrial Equipment Service Technician

As a Field Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for the lifecycle maintenance, diagnostics, and refurbishment of industrial compressed air systems. By ensuring our rental fleet operates at peak performance, you directly impact the productivity and operational success of our diverse client base.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform complex repairs on industrial air compressors and drying systems.
• Execute rigorous testing protocols to validate equipment functionality and reliability before deployment.
• Refurbish rental assets to meet high-quality standards, ensuring long-term equipment health.
• Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to resolve intricate mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Maintain detailed service records and utilize PC-based software to track maintenance activities.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, to safely organize and move heavy machinery.
• Collaborate with the service team to streamline repair workflows and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or pneumatic service and repair.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical design drawings and electrical schematics.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring kneeling, stooping, and walking.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Technical knowledge of refrigeration systems or chiller maintenance.
• Relevant industry certifications in refrigeration or HVAC.
