Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Leading engineering change and product modification projects across existing aerospace programmes
- Producing and updating 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Supporting prototype build, testing and validation activities where required
- Managing project schedules, budgets and cross-functional engineering teams
- Acting as the technical interface between customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years' experience in mechanical product development within a manufacturing environment on latches or mechanisms
- Strong experience using 3D CAD and CAE tools, ideally SolidWorks and PDM systems
- Knowledge of aerospace standards, GD&T and engineering drawing practices
- Strong project management, problem solving and stakeholder communication skills
