Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities, including autism. Your expertise in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis will be essential in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. You will also be responsible for data collection and analysis to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients in behavioral health settings.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Implement behavioral interventions and monitor client progress regularly.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide support and training to parents and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
  • Participate in diagnostic evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst is required.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities is preferred.
  • Proficient in data collection methods and patient assessment practices.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, documentation, and record keeping related to patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
