Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide speech therapy services to children and adults, including those in early intervention programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, exercises, and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and integrate evidence-based techniques into therapy sessions.
Experience
- Prior school experience or pediatrics experience is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in speech therapy techniques for diverse populations.
- Experience with patient care, including conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with early intervention services and protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
