Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will provide expert behavioral therapy services, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans based on individual assessments.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments to identify client needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client's goals and needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- Participate in intake assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with diagnostic evaluations.
- Stay current with developments in behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology relevant to client care.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, data collection, and patient assessment methods.
- Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals requiring specialized behavioral health interventions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations related to behavioral health or special education is preferred.
