They are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator / Tier 3 Support Engineer to join their Columbia-based team. This is a fast-paced, technically rich role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and networking. You’ll begin in a senior service desk capacity handling escalated tickets (roughly 10 per day), with a clear growth path into the Escalation Team and ultimately the Project Team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune
- Support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Teams Voice (bonus)
- Diagnose Intune compliance, device management, and policy issues
- Work with SonicWall firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless controllers
- Troubleshoot DNS, subnetting, NAT, SMTP, RDP, and SSL traffic
- Support business applications (experience with AutoCAD or engineering/design tools is a big plus)
- Configure and deploy PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Identify root causes and recurring trends, proactively improving processes
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of MSP experience (or similar high-volume technical environment)
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams
- Solid networking fundamentals (Network preferred)
- Experience supporting professional services, construction, engineering, or design environments is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting mindset—not just quick fixes
- Clear communicator who works well with both clients and leadership
Work Schedule
- Based in Columbia, MD
- Onsite during ramp-up, then hybrid (2–3 days in office weekly)
- Occasional onsite client visits as needed
