We are a growing Managed Service Provider that is searching for a Senior System Administrator who can step confidently into advanced technical ownership. If you enjoy solving complex problems, leading technical direction, and supporting modern cloud and on-prem environments across multiple clients, this role gives you the autonomy and impact you are looking for.
You will serve as the top escalation point for servers, cloud systems, and networking issues while also contributing to project delivery, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. This is a role for someone who is hands-on, client-focused, and comfortable guiding junior engineers while still rolling up their sleeves for high-level work.
What You Will Do
• Resolve advanced escalations involving servers, virtualization, firewalls, and cloud technologies
• Design and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure solutions
• Manage Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Support VMware or Hyper V virtualization and assist with server builds and upgrades
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, switching, and core networking issues
• Lead or assist with migrations, cloud adoption, and modernization projects across client sites
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate the team’s technical maturity
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
What You Bring
• Two or more years of experience in an MSP
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and Azure administration
• Solid background with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
• Experience handling complex escalations and taking ownership of high-impact technical issues
• Ability to work directly with clients and communicate recommendations clearly
• Interest in staying current with new technologies, certifications, and best practices
