What are the responsibilities and job description for the MSP Systems Engineer (Level 2) position at Bowman Williams?
MSP Systems Engineer (Level 2) Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Career Path to Senior Engineer / Security Engineer
This fast-growing, cloud-first and security-driven Managed Service Provider is hiring an MSP Systems Engineer (Level 2) to support continued growth across its New York City client base. The firm is expanding rapidly and adding new clients, maturing service delivery, and investing heavily in its engineering team, tooling, and long-term scalability.
This organization does not hire engineers to keep them stuck in repetitive Tier 1 work. Engineers here are given meaningful responsibility, exposure to modern technologies, and a clearly defined path forward. The role is ideal for an MSP engineer who wants more ownership, deeper technical exposure, and upward mobility and not a dead-end support role.
Engineers receive hands-on experience with Azure, modern Microsoft environments, security tooling, automation, and real-world project deployments. Quarterly performance reviews are used specifically to map career progression, whether that path leads to Senior Engineer, Security Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Architect. The company actively invests in engineers through paid certifications, structured learning, and continuous exposure to new technologies.
This is an opportunity for an MSP professional whose career momentum matters.
