Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in school psychology or closely related field required
- Valid Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in School Psychology
- Recent experience working with school-aged children, preferably in public schools
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and behavioral interventions
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop individualized plans and recommendations for academic and behavioral support
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student achievement
- Assist with crisis response and promote a positive school climate
- Document services and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
This on-site role offers dedicated service to several elementary and middle school campuses, working 37.5 hours per week, with two School Psychologist positions available. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Compensation is thoughtfully set at $47-$52 per hour, reflecting your expertise and the value of the work.
