You’ll join a supportive school system focused on providing quality occupational therapy services to a diverse student population, including elementary and middle school students, as well as homebound learners. Your expertise will help empower students to achieve their fullest potential in academic and daily living activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license
- Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) OT license
- DORA certification
- Experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-60 students
- Adapt services and techniques to meet the needs of students in elementary, middle, and homebound environments
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Attend all required meetings and be present at all assigned work sites
- Participate in the Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation (July 27th–31st, 2026)
