Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, with renewal eligibility for the 2026/2027 period preferred
- Demonstrated experience implementing behavior intervention plans within school environments
- Familiarity with collecting data, maintaining accurate session notes, and contributing to individualized education plan (IEP) teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and other support staff
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students, delivering intervention and support as prescribed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and report on behavioral data to track student progress and help adjust programming
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to encourage student growth and achievement
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions
- Assist with crisis de-escalation and employ proactive behavior management techniques as needed
