Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oneonta, AL

Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting young learners as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite opportunity is positioned to cover a 12-week maternity leave from early January to mid-March, with a focus on providing speech and language services to approximately 50 students in PreK through 4th grade. Work within an elementary school setting, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and professionals to help students reach their communication milestones during a crucial developmental period.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license and current Educator Certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs for elementary-aged students
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Comfort working onsite with children from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
• Develop individualized intervention plans and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Adapt interventions and materials to meet varied student needs
