Duties
• Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios for clients across diverse industries.
• Handle trademark prosecution matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and coordinate with foreign trademark counsel.
• Develop and implement comprehensive trademark protection, enforcement, and brand management strategies.
• Conduct trademark clearance searches and prepare detailed legal risk assessments.
• Support Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and related trademark disputes.
• Counsel clients regarding copyright registration, protection, licensing, enforcement, and ownership issues.
• Advise clients on digital content matters, including domain name disputes, online brand protection, and DMCA takedown procedures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate trademark licenses, copyright licenses, coexistence agreements, and other intellectual property agreements.
• Conduct intellectual property due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, financing transactions, and other corporate matters.
• Maintain direct communication with clients regarding intellectual property strategy, portfolio management, and legal developments.
• Participate in business development initiatives while building long-term client relationships.
• Manage multiple sophisticated intellectual property matters while ensuring exceptional client service and timely project completion.

Requirements
• 3–6 years of trademark experience at an Am Law 200 firm or a leading intellectual property boutique.
• Experience managing domestic and international trademark portfolios.
• Strong background in trademark prosecution and USPTO practice.
• Experience handling trademark clearance, risk assessments, and brand enforcement.
• Knowledge of copyright counseling, licensing, registration, and enforcement.
• Experience drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple sophisticated legal matters.
• Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for admission by waiver.
