Key Responsibilities

• Lead appellate strategy and oversee all phases of appeals.

• Draft appellate briefs, legal memoranda, and motions with precision.

• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.

• Analyze trial records to identify and develop appealable issues.

• Collaborate with trial teams to preserve issues for appeal.

• Conduct advanced research on novel and complex legal questions.

• Mentor junior attorneys and guide litigation teams.

• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy.

Qualifications

• 18 years of appellate or complex litigation experience.

• Proven success handling appeals before state and/or federal courts.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active bar membership in good standing; appellate specialization a plus.

• Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to independently manage a substantial, sophisticated appellate docket.

• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
