The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will manage a diverse litigation caseload involving complex business disputes, discovery strategy, and sophisticated litigation proceedings. Attorneys will gain significant experience handling fact and expert discovery, taking depositions, drafting substantive motions, and developing litigation strategy for a broad range of commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and litigation filings

• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery-related motions

• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review and e-discovery processes

• Develop and implement e-discovery strategy for complex commercial litigation matters

• Conduct fact and expert discovery in high-stakes business disputes

• Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation proceedings

• Manage litigation matters independently and collaboratively within litigation teams

• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings

• Communicate directly with clients regarding litigation developments and legal strategy

• Analyze complex factual and legal issues affecting commercial litigation matters

• Collaborate with partners and associates on litigation strategy and case management

• Manage multiple deadlines and litigation responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active Bar admission in the attorney’s resident and/or affiliated office required

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Strong background handling discovery, motion practice, and litigation strategy

• Experience with e-discovery management and complex discovery disputes preferred

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills

• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters effectively
