Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of remodeling projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and resolve issues proactively.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA regulations and proper use of tools like the ohmmeter for electrical inspections.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools for project scheduling, tracking progress, and managing documentation.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to interpret project scope and technical specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets design specifications and safety standards; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and budgets effectively while maintaining detailed records of project progress and expenditures.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in remodeling or renovation projects.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead teams efficiently on busy construction sites.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid; familiarity with Primavera P6 is especially valuable.
- Deep understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project scheduling.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards along with practical experience using tools like the ohmmeter for electrical work.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and managing client relationships effectively.
