Duties
- Lead remodeling projects by planning, organizing, and managing all phases of construction activities on-site.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project scope, specifications, and desired outcomes.
- Supervise subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other tools to coordinate schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately to guide project execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety audits on-site.
- Use tools like Ohmmeter for electrical inspections and ensure all work aligns with technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising remodeling or construction projects in residential or commercial settings.
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, and budgeting processes.
- Supervising experience leading diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors effectively.
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques such as critical path method (CPM) using Primavera P6 or Primavera P6 equivalents.
- Strong background in quality control procedures ensuring high standards across all phases of remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with construction contracts management to negotiate terms and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
