Duties
- Lead and supervise remodeling crews, assigning tasks effectively to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to align project goals, schedules, and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, and uphold quality control standards.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately to guide team activities and verify work aligns with design intent.
- Manage project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to track timelines and resource allocation.
- Oversee budgeting activities including material procurement, labor costs, and change orders; utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid for accurate cost control.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations by conducting toolbox talks, maintaining OSHA standards, and using tools such as the ohmmeter for electrical inspections.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in construction or remodeling projects with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Primavera.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Familiarity with contracts management, project scheduling, budgeting practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and use measurement tools such as the ohmmeter effectively on-site.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards coupled with practical experience in enforcing safety protocols on active sites.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, managing client expectations, and documenting project progress.
