Responsibilities
- Demolish existing bathroom fixtures and structures safely and efficiently, preparing the space for renovation
- Install new plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring compliance with code standards
- Perform electrical work such as wiring lighting, outlets, and switches to meet project specifications
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation of cabinets, tiles, drywall, and other materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools skillfully for tasks like cutting, sanding, framing, and finishing surfaces
- Apply finishing techniques including caulking, plastering, painting, and trim carpentry to achieve a polished look
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of remodeling projects while maintaining safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam software for digital blueprint reading and project documentation
- Extensive construction management experience with a focus on remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Skilled in plumbing installation and repair; electrical experience is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely on construction sites
- Expertise in concrete forming, masonry, stucco application, roofing, and restoration techniques
- Familiarity with fabrication of custom components like cabinetry or glass installations
- Competence in framing carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and hardscape work
- Experience with schematics interpretation and heavy equipment operation for complex tasks
- Knowledge of construction painting, concrete finishing, welding, masonry work, and roof repairs
