In this role, you will work closely with plant management to provide valuable financial insights, enhance reporting processes, and offer recommendations to improve internal controls and profitability. As a key financial partner to plant management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of performance metrics and cost analysis to drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports, ensuring data accuracy for plant managers, senior leadership, and stakeholders. Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for plant operations, working with management to identify new metrics for performance tracking. Liaise with plant managers to explain financial data and assist in evaluating operational performance, particularly for teams without a financial background. Analyze the correlation between production data (e.g., output and efficiency metrics) and financial performance (costs and profitability), identifying areas for improvement. Monitor compliance with plant processes and work with operational teams to ensure timely corrective actions are taken when necessary. Support the annual planning process by providing data-driven insights and modeling different scenarios to forecast future performance. After the annual plan is established, regularly report on performance vs. budget, offering explanations for deviations. Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, reflecting current production and raw material usage.
