Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a VT or compact RN license and 3-5 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Dept of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
- Mid-shift schedule, either 11AM-11PM or 1PM-1AM, with some rotating shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (VT or Compact) required upon acceptance
- Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- 3-5 years of emergency room nursing experience required

- Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border, offering outdoor recreation like hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
- Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area
- Required to attend quarterly department education sessions
