Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an acute care facility in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.
Details
- Acute care unit with 31 beds
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Common diagnoses include small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, wound care, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and sepsis
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Every third weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required as appropriate to experience
- Charting performed in Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associates degree or higher
- Proficiency in NG tube placement and management, Foley placement and management, and chest tube maintenance
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Candidates must have a permanent address located more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
- Any solid scrub color is acceptable; fluorescent colors are not permitted
