About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Strategy: Lead all day-to-day finance operations, including functional responsibility for accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Modern Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Forward-Looking Analysis: Manage the annual budget process and develop rolling forecasts to provide accurate projections of financial performance.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Audit & Compliance: Act as the primary lead for annual financial audits and ensure all local, state, and federal tax filings are accurate.
What You Bring
- Experience: 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. Experience in a growth-stage or private equity-backed environment is highly preferred.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA is preferred
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of GAAP and proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or Workday).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams. Strong "big-picture" thinking combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability: A culture-first mindset that sees technological change—such as generative AI—as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.
