This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in commercial real estate and financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting.Responsibilities:• Manage and execute all aspects of month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.• Oversee CAM reconciliations and ensure compliance with commercial real estate agreements.• Handle payroll processes and maintain meticulous records for employee compensation.• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to ensure smooth operations.• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.• Lead financial analysis and reporting related to mergers and acquisitions (M& A).• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and processes.• Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.• Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, fostering detail-oriented growth.• Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on commercial real estate in industrial or retail.• Proficiency in CAM reconciliations and knowledge of lease agreements.• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and journal entry preparation.• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll, AP, and AR functions effectively.• Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M& A) financial analysis and reporting.• Advanced understanding of accounting standards and regulations.• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and workflows.• Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and support strategic initiatives.
