Position Summary
The CAM Analyst will handle all aspects of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and operating expense reconciliations for a portfolio of multi-tenant commercial properties. This is a hands-on analytical role working closely with accounting, finance, and property management teams to ensure tenants are billed accurately and in accordance with lease terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review annual CAM, insurance, and real estate tax reconciliations.
- Audit reconciliations for lease compliance, accuracy, and consistency with prior years.
- Interpret commercial leases and amendments to determine recoverable expenses.
- Prepare monthly tenant estimates and impound budgets based on current forecasts.
- Research and resolve tenant billing and recovery inquiries.
- Partner with property accountants to improve recovery accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Business preferred.
- 2 years of experience in CAM analysis, property accounting, or lease administration.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease terms and expense recoveries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
- Experience with MRI or similar property management software preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
