Director, Operational Excellence

Boston, MA (Hybrid- 3 days per week onsite)

Full-time

Salary Base:$170,000-$180,000 plus bonus and additional compensation

The Role

• Lead process improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for re-engineering, optimization, and automation
• Partner with stakeholders across Investment Services to assess current-state workflows and design scalable, tech-enabled solutions
• Drive the development of reporting and dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) to enhance decision-making and operational visibility
• Build and implement automation solutions that reduce operational risk and improve efficiency at scale
• Translate business challenges into strategic, technology-enabled roadmaps
• Conduct industry research on emerging automation trends and best practices
  
  

Experience

• 10 years of experience within financial services, ideally supporting Investment Services or Investment Operations
• Proven track record of modernizing business processes using automation, data analytics, and technology solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboarding and reporting (critical requirement)
• Experience leading automation initiatives using both Agile and traditional methodologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Deep understanding of operational risk, internal controls, and process optimization
• Investment Management or Asset Management experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
