What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Advantage Technical?
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture high-precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work instructions
- Perform repetitive machining operations while maintaining production and quality standards
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools
- Upload/download CNC programs and maintain production records
- Follow all shop safety procedures, policies, and quality standards
- Support additional manufacturing and production tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational training preferred
- 1–8 years of manufacturing or CNC machining experience
- Level II candidates must have at least 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
