Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure continuous production.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to correct defects or improve efficiency.
- Document production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered during operation.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve technical problems and improve processes.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Certification in CNC machining or related technical training.
