Quality Inspector for a top manufacturing company located in Shelton, CT. 1st shift. Pay rate - $25hr
Responsibilities for this Quality Inspector job include:
- Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection of incoming components and sub assemblies.
- Perform inspection of finished sterile devices for package integrity, cleanliness and conformance.
- Record data related to inspections, fill out electronic forms reflecting inspection results to be submitted for review.
- Use basic inspection tools to gather data in accordance with sampling plans including calipers, micrometers, gage pins, gage block, visual references and custom gages.
- Use typical MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to perform simple data entry tasks.
Qualifications:
1 yrs exp as Quality Inspector or manufacturing operator with inspection exp
Ability to use hand-held measuring devices – micrometers, calipers, also burst testers, pull and torque testers
Ability to read standard operating instructions, packaging configuration drawings and blueprints – engineering drawings
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook for simple data entry
HS Diploma or GED required
Hours/Days - Monday - Friday from 8am – 5pm
Location – Shelton, CT
