We’re looking for a Controller to join our forward-thinking engineering team — a trusted financial leader who thrives on precision, collaboration, and process improvement. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all accounting functions including project cost tracking, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; prepare accurate and timely financial reports for leadership and project managers.

• Partner with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and job cost analysis for multiple ongoing projects.

• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations.

• Prepare financial models, cash flow projections, and variance analyses to guide leadership decisions.

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff — fostering collaboration between finance and project operations.

• Coordinate audits and work with external financial institutions, tax advisors, and auditors.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and integrate technology for more efficient reporting and analysis.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred).

• 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably within engineering, construction, or professional services industries.

• Experience with project-based accounting, job cost management, and revenue recognition.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Deltek Vision, QuickBooks, or Sage Intacct, and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
