CNC Machinist

Adecco Staffing is currently hiring CNC Machinists for full-time, contract-to-hire positions in the Optical Fabrication Department of a leading manufacturer located in Keene, NH. Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC diamond turning, grinding, or polishing machines

• Manufacture high-precision optical components according to engineering drawings and work instructions

• Perform precision measurements using metrology tools

• Manually clean optical surfaces with approved solvents and wipes

• Collect, analyze, and report production data using basic math and statistical knowledge

• Follow all safety protocols including use of PPE like safety glasses and latex gloves

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of machining experience in a production environment

• Proficient in setting up and running CNC machines

• Comfortable using computers for data entry and document review

• Skilled in using metrology equipment for inspecting precision components

• Strong English language skills (reading, writing, and verbal communication)

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs

• May involve exposure to chemicals and solvents

• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves

• Position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks

  
  

Pay Details: $22.00 to $29.00 per hour
