Job Description:
The Marketing & Workforce Development Specialist will support brand growth and talent pipeline initiatives through a mix of marketing strategy, event coordination, and community engagement. This individual will play a key role in building relationships, enhancing visibility, and supporting early-stage recruiting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute recruiting events including career fairs, networking events, and campus outreach
- Develop partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations
- Support candidate engagement efforts and maintain communication with prospective talent
- Assist in identifying hiring needs and developing outreach strategies
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to support business growth and brand awareness
- Manage website updates and oversee social media presence
- Design and produce marketing materials and promotional content
- Coordinate project-related photography and branding initiatives
- Provide light administrative/front office support as needed
- Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives
- 2–3 years of experience in marketing, with some exposure to recruiting or workforce engagement
- Experience planning events or managing community outreach initiatives
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a creative and proactive mindset
- Experience in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar design tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- Fully on-site position in Fairfax, VA
- Team size: approximately 50 employees in-office, with a larger field workforce
- Reports to a manager with a hands-off leadership style, encouraging autonomy
