What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accounting Manager position at Addison Group?
Bay Area based multi-strategy investment firm seeks a Fund Accounting Manager with hands on fund accounting experience on a consulting basis for a 6 month duration. The ideal candidate comes with hands on fund accounting experience from working at a fund or fund admin. Duties include coordinating daily fund accounting activities with a third party administrator and reviewing fund transactions including the monthly loan servicing process and LP reporting to ensure compliance with fund agreements. The consultant will lead the month end close process for the assigned funds and related GP entities, including quarterly reporting to fund investors which includes GAAP financial statements, performance reporting, partner capital statements and reviewing work prepared by the third party administrator. This role can work onsite on a hybrid basis 1-2 days per week or on a remote basis after the initial training period.
Requirements:
- 7 years of hands on investment fund accounting experience at a fund or fund admin is required.
- VC or PE fund industry experience.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $75 - $80
