Job Description:
The Family Law Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys with active caseloads, focusing on domestic relations matters. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage case documentation and deadlines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with family law matters including divorce, custody, and support cases
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, filings, and correspondence
- Coordinate case files, deadlines, and court submissions
- Communicate with clients, courts, and external parties in a professional manner
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain case tracking, financial data, and reporting
- Support overall case management and administrative legal processes
Qualifications:
- Required: Paralegal certification
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- 2–3 years of experience in family law
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in a law firm or legal office environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
