The Williams Firm, PC is a growing civil, real estate, and probate litigation firm in Livingston, Texas. We’re looking for a full-time Paralegal to be an integral part of the team and support our attorneys in advocating for our clients. Our mission is to help clients protect and preserve their family legacies, property, and assets—and we’d love for you to be part of that.
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys and staff with litigation, real estate, and probate cases
- Communicate and coordinate with county and district clerk offices and filing procedures
- Prepare initial drafts of legal documents
- Handle e-filing for most firm documents and keep track of firm filings
- Make sure filing fees and expenses are paid and route billing records for reconciliation
- Assist in trial and hearing preparation; assist with discovery
- Upload and organize filings and correspondence in client portal
- Keep track of court deadlines, hearings, and docket updates and update client portal
- Communicate with clients and staff regarding case developments
- Maintain detailed case notes and follow internal policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Professional, self-motivated, team-oriented attitude

- Ability to meet billable hour requirements
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Great time management skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal department or law office (strong plus)
- Familiarity with Texas e-filing and coordination with court clerks (strong plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and willing to adapt and learn new systems
- Able to work full-time in our Livingston office
Salary: Based commensurate with experience
