Job Title: Director of Operations
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Pay: $100,000 - 110,000

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 6 years of operations leadership experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or transit
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Experience with fleet operations, routing software, and dispatch systems
- Financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, dispatch, and fleet management
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams, including supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including safety and DOT standards
- Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, KPI tracking, and performance management
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation to meet financial targets
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Analyze operational data and reporting to identify trends and implement improvements
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service reliability
- Oversee vendor relationships, maintenance programs, and fleet utilization
- Support hiring, training, and retention initiatives within operations teams
