Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a growing organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to manage and mentor a small team.
Key responsibilities include managing the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This individual will oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintain the general ledger, and perform account reconciliations.
The Accounting Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts. Additionally, this role will partner with external auditors and advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and regulatory requirements. A focus on process improvement and operational efficiency is essential for success in this position.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience
- Strong experience managing month-end close processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables and lookup functions)
- Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
