Hiring: GIS Specialist (Enterprise / Linear Referencing) – Remote (U.S. Only)
accel bi corporation is looking for an experienced GIS Specialist to support a high-impact enterprise GIS initiative involving large-scale hydrography data integration and maintenance.
This is a senior-level role (7 years) ideal for professionals with deep expertise in enterprise GIS systems, linear referencing, and database-driven spatial data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance enterprise GIS datasets (geometry, events, attributes)
- Perform data QA/QC to ensure accuracy and integrity of spatial data
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for GIS data workflows
- Execute advanced SQL Server queries for data analysis and reporting
- Support enterprise migration and integration of GIS datasets
- Provide progress reporting and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of experience in GIS / spatial data management
- Strong experience with:
- Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) ⭐
- ESRI Roads & Highways ⭐
- SQL Server (advanced querying)
- ETL development and maintenance
- Data QA/QC processes
- Experience working with enterprise GIS environments
- Ability to manage large, complex spatial datasets
