Hiring: GIS Specialist (Junior) – Enterprise GIS / LRS
Raleigh, NC (Onsite) | Full-Time
accel bi corporation looking for a GIS Specialist with hands-on experience in enterprise GIS environments to support a high-impact data modernization initiative involving critical environmental datasets.
This role focuses on data migration, quality assurance, and linear referencing within an enterprise GIS system.
What You’ll Do
- Support migration of GIS datasets into an enterprise environment
- Perform QA/QC and validation of spatial data
- Work on Linear Referencing System (LRS) tasks
- Execute bulk and individual data updates
- Develop and maintain cartographic outputs using ESRI tools
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance in a multi-user GIS environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of GIS experience in a professional environment
- Strong experience with ESRI Suite (ArcGIS, ArcPro, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS)
- Experience in data migration and QA/QC processes
- Familiarity with enterprise GIS environments (versioning, multi-user editing)
Good to Have
- Experience with hydrography or environmental datasets
- Exposure to state or transportation GIS systems
