Controller

Our client is a full-service company that handles fulfillment and logistics for e-commerce. They seek a Controller to join their Rahway, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update company accounting policies to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to maintain healthy cash flow
• Direct day-to-day bookkeeping operations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track financial health
• Design risk assessment models to identify and mitigate financial exposure
• Prepare and deliver reports on the company’s financial performance
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements

• 8-15 years of accounting experience
• E-commerce, wholesale, retail, or garment industry
• Combo or private
• Experience handling the close process autonomously
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Excel or QuickBooks preferred
